Dial In Your Online Sales Process Today! Click Here! >>

We live in a world driven by data analytics—namely, sales data analysis.  That leads us down a neverending road of figuring out how to analyze sales data, analytics, statistics, and numbers.   It is a channelized interplay of all this that we can see the things placed in the way they are around us.
This whole idea of sales data analytics, data mining, and data science has completely captivated business and education in the last 12 months...  So much so that I see info products and degree programs popping up all over the place around this idea of 'data.'
Don’t believe it?
Well, why do they place the items in the way they are placed in a grocery store?
They have studied and found a particular pattern that attracts maximum attention. Hence, they have kept it like that. The same goes for the advertisements we see on our social media. Because of the data or the so-called cookies these systems use, we see those ads floating around on our computer screens.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In this post, we will discuss the countless ways businesses can utilize data analytics to create a better experience and ultimately improve their sales. So, let us begin...
And to kick it off, one of my favorite quotes:
“Data by itself is useless. Data is only useful if you apply it.” Todd Park
1. How To Analyze Sales Data And Market Data
As a business, you want to generate as much traffic for your website as possible to convert them. You employ countless strategies – social media marketing, search engine optimization, paid marketing, and whatnot.
At the most basic level, you want to know how to improve sales with data...
What works and what not? It's easy to get lost in vast amounts of seemingly meaningless numbers.
Only quantifying and analyzing data can help you determine what works, which is why we built the Axis's Advanced Analytics engine... To get a complete picture of what works. What is driving sales? Where should you be investing your marketing resources? There’s even a free 3-part video series that’ll walk you through filling the gaps in your metrics.
With the power to increase sales analytics, you can eventually learn how to analyze sales data, driving the best numbers to your website.
Once you have those numbers, you can quickly analyze the sales data and focus more effort in that direction rather than continuing with the hit-and-trial streak.
2. Targeted Marketing Using Data Analytics
Your efforts are going to waste unless you know your target. It is data that helps your product to target.
Suppose you have project management software for teams. And, you intend to sell it in the market.
Which audience should you target? This becomes a big question. Running a pilot study, gathering the data, and then studying the results of this test can help you get a clear picture of your most influential audience.
So, you can plan the marketing efforts targeting that particular audience and kill it in the market!
That’s how powerful data analytics is when it comes to driving sales!

3. Predictive Analysis: How Analytics Can Improve Business
Your ultimate target is to reach the customers and sell your product. But when should you get them?
What are the best methods and the best time to get in touch with them? This can be achieved with data-driven predictive analysis once you discover how to analyze sales data effectively...
If you have a business that has been running for a long time, gathering past data to study customer behavior and understanding the results of interaction with them can be used to predict customer behavior.
Based on these predictions, you can eventually be more specific in your efforts and hit the bull’s eye with every marketing campaign to ultimately get more conversions!
4. Drive Down Costs With Data Analytics
As combined results of all the factors mentioned above, you can be sure of one thing – running more efficient marketing campaigns.
This means that you can be more specific when dealing with customers, create more targeted campaigns, and hence require less effort to develop and implement.
The ultimate result would be – low costs and better ROI - leading to an increase.
And this is the ultimate goal of every business. Isn’t it?
Bringing down the expenses and getting the maximum out of the investment you put in creates a successful business. With the help of data analytics, you can quickly achieve this goal without facing any trouble.
Inside our Coaching Accelerator Toolkit, there are LOTS of free training materials to help you understand and dig into analytics:
Learn how to analyze sales data
Start effectively tracking marketing data
Find out how you decide what costs you should cut and
Get to the profitable areas of your business that are worth pursuing.
5. Build Better Products With Data
A business must continue to evolve to remain a thriving force in the industry. But how does a company grow?
The answer is constantly building new products, better services, and whatnot.
Now, this is where data analytics can play a significant role.
Data analytics can help you understand market trends. What are the customers drifting towards? What are they attracted to in the current market scenario? And what’s the future going to be?
Answers to all these questions lie in your numbers, making learning how to analyze sales data the most important question...
Once you have those numbers and find the answer to these questions, you can head towards developing a product that already has a high chance of succeeding in the market.  So, you are in a win-win situation!
6. Better MRR Because Of Data Analytics
MRR stands for monthly recurring revenue for those who are not into sales.
It is the number of customers that come back every month to pay for your product or service.
With the power of data, you can efficiently study customer behavior, build targeted campaigns, and effortlessly attract those customers who have invested in your business.
So, you can quickly get recurring customers by targeting your efforts in that direction. As the numbers suggest, it costs five times more money to acquire a new customer than retaining one.
And data analytics can help you figure out ways to keep that returning customer number high.
What's Next?
Remember those words by Mark Twain, “Data is like garbage. You’d better know what you will do with it before you collect it.”
And today’s businesses have found the hidden power of data. They know what they will do with it and invest considerable sums in data and predictive analytics.
If you, too, want to learn how to analyze sales data and take your business to newer heights of success, it is high time you find the right source for gathering data and then invest in analytics.
The future lies in numbers and predictive analysis. And you would not want your business to be left behind in the market just because you did not want to invest in gathering those numbers. Would you?
So, what are you waiting for? Plan your way out, and see what strategy you need to implement to get the most out of data analytics for your business.

Video Transcript:
They have no clue whether it's getting 2000 visitors a day or 20 visitors a day. That's terrible because if you know how much traffic is coming to your website, there are things you can do to influence that traffic. You can move them into sales funnels. You can do things like exit pops, put banners on your website, and serve advertising to start making money.
Hey, this is Jason Drohn. Today, I want to discuss how businesses use analytics to improve sales, website optimization, and conversions. It is how to make more money with the traffic to your site and the sales material that is usually already there. So a quote I love, "Data analytics by itself is useless. Data is only useful if you apply it," which is true. So, first of all, if you do not have an analytics program that you are using, you need to install something on your website immediately.
Stop this video, go, and install Google Analytics. And if you can't figure it out, figure it out because it is easy. Log in with your Gmail username and your Google account username, go to analytics.google.com, and then start your account. Then, it will ask you what website you want to track.
And do you want to track websites, apps, whatever? You want to follow a website, and your website is your URL. Then, there is a multitude of plugins. For WordPress, you can install the code directly to your site. It would help if you started tracking data because here's the thing. Your data analytics is lost. Every day, you are not following. So, if your analytics code is installed today, but you don't plan on using that data at any point in the next month, it doesn't matter. Because when you log in in a month, in two months, in three months, in six months, you still have all that Data you can comb through. But, if you don't ever take the time to install it, then that data is gone. You have no idea how many visitors your website is getting. There's a reason I'm harping on this.
So many of our clients who come to us have no idea how much traffic their website is getting. So whether it's getting 2000 visitors a day or 20 visitors a day, they have no clue. That's terrible because if you know how much traffic is coming to your website, there are things you can do to influence that traffic. You can move them into sales funnels, do something like exit pops, put banners on your website, and serve advertising to start making money, but you need to know how much traffic is coming to your website. So, now that we have that out in the open, how do businesses use data analytics? I have been digging through website data for the last 13 to 14 years, trying to understand the story that the data is trying to tell us.
And it's not just my websites or my traffic; all our clients, too. So, I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what data analytics means. There are things that I'm always looking for. Of course, revenue, number of units sold, number of leads in, all of that stuff is super important. That's also a given. I mean, if you're looking to do business online and you aren't tracking sales or aren't tracking the number of units sold, there's a problem with that. It's what you need to do. But some things influence those kinds of critical metrics, leads, and sales. Those things affecting the metrics are website visitors. They are keyword phrases that bring in new traffic. They are ad source, basic UTM variable stuff, so which ad is sending the sale? Lots of things that aren't ... If you're looking at traffic, you're looking at your sales and your leads and then downline; many things influence those sales and leads.
So, what are those things? Because if you can optimize those, then you get more sales. A great example is a sales funnel. If you have a thousand people who are hitting the home page of your site and right up top, there is a hero box. A hero box, right up top, with an image, a headline, and a button. It says ... I don't know, like even on Done For You ... "We Accelerate Your Growth" or "We Accelerate Growth". So, there's "We Accelerate Growth" and a little sub-headline and a button. And, let's say a thousand people hit the website, and a hundred of them hit that button, and then they go off into some sales funnel. So, the sales funnel, in our case right now, is a survey. It's just something we're testing.
So, they go down in the survey. Now, what if we changed that headline to be, let's say, "Make Money Fall From the Sky"? Let's say. Make money fall from the sky," so they hit the homepage, Done For You, "Make Money Fall From the Sky," then they hit the button, sending them to the same sales funnel, but we get 200 clicks. It's 100% more, or twice the amount of traffic hitting that button and then going down the sales funnel for that second headline. Now, that second headline isn't something we want on our website, but it illustrates the point. Whenever you can unblock a gateway, whenever you can unclog a gateway so that more people are flowing through it, then you're knocking down the barriers through the rest of your sales funnel.
So, if you get twice as many people who hit a landing page, you'll have twice as many people ... All things remain even ... You have twice as many people who will opt-in for that lead and then move into your email list. So, there are many different ways that data analytics can be used there. When looking at sales funnel metrics, what are the five steps of the funnel? And then, how many people hit each step, and is there anything that we can do to unblock that pathway? So, an example might be changing the -landing page headline and splitting it into three or four different headlines. It might be changing our button color so that we're optimizing the button. I mean, you go from green to red to black. You'll find a button color that'll give you a 12% boost in the conversion of your order. I know it's wild because it's just a color, but it always matters.
Order form design, sales page design, sales copy, all of these things can be optimized, and you're going to be looking at your data analytics to figure out what needs to be optimized and what needs to happen with it. So, just some fundamental parameters there. But, some of the things that I'm looking for ... We started with Google Analytics ... Some of the stuff that we looked for in Google Analytics, I'm looking at page views. What pages are getting an uncommon amount of traffic, and then what is happening on those pages? For instance, we have 400 blog posts. So, what are the 20 or 30 blog posts getting most of our traffic, and how were the keyword phrases influencing that traffic?
For example, our website is a sales funnel page. I think we're ranked for 170 keyword phrases on our sales funnel page and our sales funnel offer. Now, those 170 keyword phrases, all with some derivative of the sales funnel, are ranging ... Some are on the first page, and some are on page 10 in Google. A lot of them are on page five and page six. We're getting quite a bit of traffic searching from sales funnels, but we want to move as many of those page four and page five keyword phrases up closer to page one and page two and then move the 10s to page five. So, we're constantly pushing, trying to increase those keyword phrases so we can continue getting sales to funnel traffic and rank for more keyword phrases that then send us free traffic.
So, that's one thing I'm looking for: the pages and the keyword phrases sending us traffic. Another item I'm looking for is paid traffic campaigns, in which ads send an uncommon amount of sales or call signups or whatever we're looking for. I'm also looking for all this stuff in the client's campaigns. I'm always looking for the data that says the small things we're doing that make the most drastic difference. It might be a video of you targeting one particular group or interest base inside Facebook. And then, because of the language in that video, they are reacting to the landing page better, so they're opting in on the landing page and moving through the sales funnel faster.
That's all a data analytics play because, in data, you can see the UTM variable, you can see what ad this person came in on, you can see what the conversion rate on the landing page is, and you can see what the conversion rate on the sales video is. And ultimately, you can track how long it takes in most CRMs. You can track how long it took somebody to click the ad to purchase. There's a buyer lifecycle cycle report in some of the more advanced CRMs. So, you know that that video gets you better conversion and drastically reduces the customer life cycle, which is fantastic. Do you know what I mean? So the most significant thing, though, is it is so easy to get lost in data. So easy.
So, if you're not a data and analytics junkie like me, pick a couple of things that you're excited about. Pick leads, sales, and video view minutes, let's say. Those are the three things you watch. There's lots of dashboard-building software out there. I use an excellent tool called Cyfe, C-Y-F-E. You can build a nice little dashboard spread to check on it. I check on it once a day to see what my trending analytics are. But it keeps me good on the critical numbers to me now. Every once in a while, I'll take a metric off, or I'll add a metric on, but what it does is it gives me an excellent way of just popping in, checking on stuff, and then leaving.
So, check out Cyfe, Domo, or any of the other dashboard tools out there. I think they make a big difference in the tabs you're keeping on your business and don't cost a whole lot. Nice software. But, if you liked this video, make sure to enjoy, subscribe, and comment, and if you would like us to take a look at your data analytics, your website, get into some website optimization, get into really making your sales funnel hum, go to DoneForYou.com/start. Today, I’m going to show you how to record simple Facebook Video Ads that reduce click costs and help you create both retargeting and lookalike audiences.
First, video views campaigns in Facebook are incredible. There are so many different things you can do with them, but the main two benefits are:
You get cheaper clicks, which will increase website traffic fast (and who can say no to that?!)
You can assemble a retargeted audience using all of Facebook’s data, based on how much of the video someone watched.
Using that retargeted audience (or custom audience) you can create a lookalike audience which means more targeted website traffic immediately.
What that means…
Using Facebook’s Audience Data When You Don’t Have Your Own
If you are just starting a new company or if you are starting ads on Facebook fresh, then you’re able to post video and segment out who watches that video.  When someone watches 25%, 50%, 75% or more of that video you can put into a “custom audience.” Then, using that custom audience, you can create a lookalike group for any future ads!
PLUS, you can retarget those folks with another ad campaign.
So, one Facebook Video Ad Campaign gives you some very real advantages in finding ideal prospects for your lead magnets and digital products.
Example Facebook Video Ads Scenario
Let’s say a fitness product or a membership site that you’re looking to sell.  You put a promotional video up as a Facebook Video Ad for prospects to watch…. They click the video and then they go over to your sales page.
Good so far.
Well, at that point, you’ve got some good data already.
Whoever watches more than 25% or 50% of that video, you can be reasonably sure that they are interested in fitness, that they are interested in digital products, that they like you. With the video views data, you can put an audience together that targets people just like them for your next promotion.
So, when you’re starting cold or when you don’t have a whole lot of data, Facebook Video Ad Campaigns represent a fantastic strategy to bootstrap that data.
Facebook Video Ads Script
For our Ad Management clients, we write their Facebook Video Ad scripts for them. We figure out the two or three things that they’re promoting, then write a script, and send it to them.
If you’re not a client, then obviously we can’t write a script for you…  But you’re welcome to jump onto a Strategy Session to talk about becoming one!
The rest of this holds true.
Every video has one action – one thing – that you’re really trying to get somebody to do.
That one thing is going to a landing page and entering an email address for a lead magnet…
Or going into a sales page, watching a video and then buying something...
Or going to a survey and completing it…
Whatever that action is, you want pre-frame that action inside the video.
Two MOST Popular Facebook Video Ads Campaigns
Of all the types of Facebook Ad Campaigns we do for clients, there are two that end up being the most popular…
Lead Magnet Promo Campaign
This is very simply a video talking about a lead magnet and then telling somebody to click the button below to go and download the lead magnet. The material itself is very similar to what’s on the landing page.
You start with a question and then you talk a little bit about the lead magnet, and then you deliver some language around the features and benefits… Followed by the call to action at the end is click the button below.
If you don’t have a Lead Magnet done yet, go here.
Sales Video Promo Campaign
This is another one that’s not too fancy..  It’s basically a short video to get someone to click through and watch a longer sales video (or sign up for an automated webinar)
Typically, this kind of Sales Video Promo Campaign is going to be used is a retargeted ad…
But the content of the commercial is going to be same format.
Open with a question.  Add a bit of content.  Talk about what a prospect is going to experience if they click through the video and watch the sales presentation…  And close by encouraging them to click the button underneath the video.

PRO TIP: You can see how these kinds of ads lend themselves to a sales funnel.  If you'd like to speak to us about building an Automated Sales Funnel or Optimize the Sales Funnel you have - click the respective links!

How To Record Your Facebook Video Ads
To record this video, I am actually talking to my computer. This is a webcam at a standing desk in my office. For me, I’m at the standing desk for three, four hours a day, and it is a nice way to talk to a camera and record stuff.  I’m already here and I can record some thoughts and then hit export it, and then boom. It goes up into Facebook and YouTube and blog posts and all that other stuff.
If you have a laptop, you can do it on your webcam; that’s totally fine too. You can be sitting at a desk. I like standing because it ends up being eye level.
Another way you can do it is by having a selfie stick if those things are even around anymore…
Or a 3-Axis Gimbal.
When you turn it on, it keeps your mobile device nice and straight no matter how you position it.
You can either record yourself looking at the camera, or you can have somebody else record you. So it really just depends on however you want to do it.
At the very minimum, you can have somebody record you…  Or you can just hold your mobile phone out in front of you and hit the record button.
For our ad management clients, just ship us the video and we will get everything edited.
Facebook Video Ads Tricks
There are a couple of tricks with Video Ads on Facebook.  Anything that is over a minute or two, you almost want to change the background up.
People respond to movement, and one of the best ways to move is to change the background or change the scenes inside of the video.
What you can do is record the same script in two or three different locations.  Maybe one in your office, one in a library and one outside.  Then you edit those shots to make for a seamless video that’s a bit more engaging. That’s one trick that we do.
If we’re working with you, you can film in three different places, send us the Dropbox link or whatever you’re comfortable with, and we will splice it together for you.
The most important thing for the video views campaign is that you are comfortable delivering the material… That you’re comfortable speaking to a camera. It’s really the biggest thing, and also it helps if you’re not reading lines on a computer.
Ideally, we want the video ads to be less than 60 seconds because they can be used on the greatest number of platforms if they’re under 60 seconds.
If they’re over 60 seconds, that’s fine… We might just not be able to use them on Instagram or we’ll have to edit a shortened version just for Instagram…  But we want to make sure the video ads can play on as many platforms as possible. That way we can utilize the audiences created by those platforms.
Live-Action Video VS. B-Roll With Voiceover
A big one…  Live-action or live-motion videos versus a B-roll style video with a voiceover.
Unfortunately, B-Roll is an easier way.  But it is much less effective.
From a live-action standpoint, at the very least, you need to introduce the video. You need to be in front of a camera for the first 10 seconds, then it can go to B-roll.  An audience wants to be able to bond with somebody. They want to see somebody in the video.  Then it can go to B-roll. You can clip up the rest of it with B-roll type shots or stock footage with a voiceover…
But you need to at the very least need to have someone introduce the video.
If you don’t have a live-action person at the beginning of that video views campaign, there isn’t anybody to bond with. There’s nobody for a viewer to relate to. It’s just stock image, after stock image, after stock image with a voiceover or with an audio track on top, and it doesn’t get the job done.
Sure, somebody might watch the video… If they’re pausing, the video might play on their phone, but they’re not engaging with somebody. They’re not engaging with the video, and that’s really the bigger part of the video views campaign.
Think about it – this ad is showing up on social media.  Social media is social.  They’re there to connect.
Need Help?
If you have any questions at all on creating Facebook Video Ad Campaigns or having us set them up for your business, click here or the button below.  Fill out the quick action plan form and we’ll jump on the phone and talk through your ad campaigns, your products, your business, and your goals…  Talk soon!

Sixty percent of enterprise business leaders claim that customer analytics is the most critical need of the hour and will increase to 79% by 2020, with personalization being the key driving factor. Enterprises are adopting customer analytics successfully and are concentrating on their goal of achieving customer personalization at scale. They are using customer analytics to do precisely that in real time.
Some of the highest achievers at the enterprise level have developed machine learning algorithms to learn how and when to offer product recommendations, adjust pricing at par with demand, and deliver competitive pricing strategies.
Corporations and various industry sectors worldwide are changing their approach to business with a customer-centric perspective, gathering a massive volume of customer intelligence data. However, harnessing the data surge can be challenging.
Even sophisticated and advanced software handling big data could not meet this deluge. Countless companies have faced challenges that continue. However, it is a fact that to succeed in this competitive marketplace and grow, your business should be able to acquire, retain, engage, and satisfy customers effectively. So, customer analytics is crucial for assessing your business performance.
Customer analytics statistics

Before concluding, it is vital to know how much customer analytics has influenced the growth of businesses. Some fascinating insights from a study conducted by the Harvard Business Review Analytic Services and Intel, SAS, and Accenture Applied Intelligence find that customer analytics is the basic need of the hour for improving customer experience across all channels.
These facts should help:
70% of enterprises have increased expenditures on real-time customer analytics solutions over the years
58% of enterprises are witnessing a significant rise in customer loyalty and retention due to customer analytics
60% of real-time customer analytics is in use to improve customer experience across various devices and touchpoints
44% of enterprises are acquiring more new customers and increasing ROI (i.e., optimizing their sales funnel) by adopting and integrating customer analytics operations
39% of enterprise executives opine that IoT is an essential technology for improving customer experiences
Customer satisfaction analysis – A sensible business trend
Corporations have a target market and customer base. If your customers are happy with your services or products, they will likely repeat you. Customer satisfaction analysis is a simple process to assess whether your customers receive what they expect and want from your business, product, or service. Precisely, you are determining their level of satisfaction – good, satisfactory, unsatisfactory.
A common way of assessing customer satisfaction is using qualitative and quantitative surveys. However, the concept of surveys is also changing and evolving with time. Today, rather than spending fortunes on surveys, you can encourage your customers to interact with you on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. You can open your business page on these leading social networks for better customer communication.
Customer Lifetime Value Analytics
A business should aim to attribute a lifetime value to customers. Once you do that, you can immediately differentiate between the most valuable and important customers. Customer lifetime value analytics is a process of analyzing how valuable a customer is to your business over an entire lifetime of a long-lasting relationship. Rather than focusing on transaction profitability, you should look at how long the customer is likely to stick with you, how often they buy during that relationship period, and, thus, how valuable they are over a specific time frame.
As a result, you can start focusing on and retaining the most valuable customers. This analysis can identify ways to increase a relationship’s length and customer value if done correctly. However, this module’s most significant challenge is finding the right formula for the business, as there is no one-size-fits-all. Analytics experts at DoneForYou.com can help.
Customer segmentation analytics
Gone are the days of selling all things to all your customers using a cliché marketing tactic! It does not work that way anymore.
Customer segmentation analytics is a process that allows businesses to find sub-categories or segments of customers within the market. Assessing customers and splitting them into different parts that might purchase a particular product or buy more frequently helps to create tailored marketing efforts and communication strategies. Valuable customer data to help companies identify clear segments is widely available online. Tools like text analysis and data mining are very effective for this purpose.
How important is real-time customer analytics?
Customer analytics is gradually becoming critical to businesses.
Customers today are more empowered and connected to the source than ever before. As such, they have complete access to information anytime, anywhere – where to buy, what to buy, what is the cost and the best discount, etc. This makes it significantly important to predict how customers will behave when interacting with your business so that you can respond accordingly. A deeper understanding of your customers’ lifestyle preferences and buying habits allows you to predict future buying behaviors accurately. The more successful you are at delivering relevant offers to attract customers, the better it is for your business.

Tips to improve real-time customer experience analytics
Harvard Business Review Analytic Services, in collaboration with Accenture Applied Intelligence, SAS, and Intel, produced a clear-cut ROA that can help any company start improving customer experience with real-time analytics. Here’s how:
Having a C-level executive increases the chances of success by 70% or more. Using their insights and influence, they create better opportunities to improve overall customer centricity.
Overcome any analysis challenge that slows the roadmaps from becoming a business reality in larger enterprises. Stay focused on capturing retention, revenue, loyalty, and customer outcomes.
The study mentions the impressive results of Telefonica Chile, showing how they remained faithful to the original vision of enriching every customer touchpoint using valuable data. Strong enterprises with customer-centric systems reflect on real-time customers.
Usability testing is a feasible technique to analyze customer behavior and buying habits, which were recently ignored.
Personalization at scale should be the focus of enterprises for an exceptionally successful customer analytics strategy.
Shift focus from technological leadership to customers and their needs. Innovating around customers using data from your products and services is the key.
Final word
Data management is different from the reason you chose marketing. However, it is the basis of understanding your target customers and developing incredible customer intelligence, which is vital for genuine creativity and personalization. Businesses can monetize an offer to the market by using customer data wisely.
Customer intelligence is the source of determining the magical moment of success. As you get to know your customers, your business will reach the ideal point at which you can offer them something new and attractive that they shall accept immediately. You must know what to provide and when. If either goes wrong, you could lose your customer to another service provider who got it right.
Also, I’d like to point out that the first impression remains the last impression. What your potential customers see at first sight is your digital interface. So, could you make it attractive and engaging?

As a marketer or business owner, your email list and audience are your most significant assets. It's your foundation.  The better you communicate with your audience using email marketing software and autoresponder emails, the more revenue you generate and the quicker you can scale your business.
Your list is your stability. That's why we need to know what the best autoresponder software is...
You can always communicate with your list – your buyers and your prospects.  You can mail affiliate products. You can promote your product launches. You can do surveys.  You can let people know about new offers and product updates.  You can even launch new products.
Email is a compelling medium when you understand it and use it correctly, which is what Axis's Email Copy App was born to help you do by writing email copy for you.
Your Email List Is Your Foundation
Email marketing goes in waves. Now and then, we read reports and blog posts explaining that email marketing is dead and that building a solid email list is a waste of time.  Yet, we continue to hear that email marketing is the most significant business revenue driver, generating more cash than any other form of advertising.
It doesn't matter what niche or business you're in; your email list is one of your most valuable assets. In some cases, it's your ONLY asset!
After talking to clients over the years, there is a lot of confusion over the best way to build a list, store a list, and market to a list. Today's post should help demystify a lot of that.
First, let's talk a little about what you need to have to start building a list so you have a sound system and infrastructure started.
NOTE: Having an 'email list' isn't the same as blasting out an email to 100 contacts in Gmail!  That isn't good! There's a reason why email marketing choosing the best autoresponder software is so important! :0)
Picking The Best Autoresponder Software
Email marketing software and email autoresponder solutions are the glue that makes everything work regarding email marketing.  The software itself is what stores your email list and gives you the ability to mail to them.  In short, it's how you get into their inboxes!
If you're collecting names and email addresses for marketing, you must be CAN-SPAM compliant…  Every email must have an unsubscribe link, the email addresses should be double opt-in, and many other things.
You CAN'T just collect their email addresses and mail them messages from Gmail!
I know a lot of business owners who think mass sending emails from their desktop mail app is the right thing to do, but it's not.  And really, I don't know why you would!  Email marketing software is super cheap, and it keeps you out of the doghouse in terms of being legal and compliant…
Plus, when you send an email, it gets to where it needs to go - the subscriber's email inbox!
There are LOTS of email marketing software providers out there.  Choosing the best autoresponder software is essential since it's a subset of email marketing.  Most of them are very good.  Their job is pretty simple.  They need to get your emails to where they need to go.
For email marketing and automation purposes, we want to make sure that:
There is an autoresponder feature
The software has the capability to grow with you
Price-wise, it's reasonable based on the size of your business
So, here's a roundup of some of the best email marketing platforms out there…  Arranged by 'business complexity.

Email Marketing Software Explained
Aweber
Aweber is one of my favorite tools for startups because it's reasonably cheap, has autoresponder functionality, and has excellent deliverability rates. It's fantastic if you're starting.
Besides doing broadcast emails, which are writing and sending one email, Aweber lets you set up a sequential series of emails that go out at a predetermined time.
So, if you want to build an automated sales funnel, email marketing will be at the heart of it all!
When someone signs up for your newsletter, free report, or download, they'll be put on an autoresponder that systematically sends out emails every day (or as often as you set them up…)
Deliverability is another factor. If you were to email your 200 clients out of Outlook or Gmail, your server might shut you down for a little while. They do that to avoid spam. If you email those same clients from Aweber, your emails are almost guaranteed to get there!

OntraPort
If you have a list of 5,000 people or more, or you'll get into heavy media buying, Ontraport is the way to go. They're my favorite email list services; I consider them the best autoresponder software.  It has many additional features and capabilities to grow your business.
Ontraport has been built from the ground up for serious Internet businesses. When we started using them, email marketing was why we switched over.  We needed greater control over our data and more competitive email rates, and OAP gave that to us.
In addition, Ontraport has
An awesome CRM functionality
Shopping cart software (so you can sell stuff)
A membership plugin for WordPress that integrates with said CRM system
The ability to do direct mail, phone call followups, and task management
Affiliate management software
Plus, a ton of other stuff.
The most excellent piece of Ontraport – is the dashboard.  They have one central dashboard that tells you about sales, signups, products, etc. It's cool looking.
Click here to check out Ontraport.
Keap (i.e., InfusionSoft) - The Best Autoresponder Software?
Infusionsoft is awesome... It's Keap now, but to us, it'll always be Infusionsoft.  It works very well and is the standard for doing big business online...
Here's the thing, though.  I love how Infusionsoft works, but it's hard to use when starting (for most people).  You must touch six screens to do one thing: set up a product for sale that's delivered online through an email (like an eBook).
That said, the software's power is unparalleled when you know how to use it.
From a cost standpoint, starting up is pretty expensive as well.  Not only do you have to pay the monthly charges, but you also have to pay a setup fee that varies from time to time. I've seen it as high as $5,000, then a free setup, and now a $ 1,500 design that's waved if you're working with an Infusionsoft-certified consultant.
It's not the most expensive system, but it's pretty pricey.
Everything you'll love about OntraPort can be found in Infusionsoft for half the price.
Depending on the plan you choose, Infusionsoft will be your:
Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
Email marketing software
Shopping cart provider with quite a few merchant integrations
Affiliate management software
Plus, a lot of other stuff...
I know that I, as well as a lot of my clients, prefer to use OntraPort...

Getting Started
Regarding email marketing software and choosing the best autoresponder software, it doesn't matter which one you use.  When you're starting, they're almost all interchangeable.  I tell our Done For You Marketing clients to use whichever they prefer.  As long as it gets email to where it needs to go and is easy to use, it's a win.
Suppose you're processing payments for your products and services or need more advanced functionality like affiliate management, link tracking, or sales pipelines. In that case, using one of the more prominent software solutions will work for you. What's most important is choosing one and getting an email marketing strategy locked in so you can start to experience the growth that that brings...

Need Website Traffic? Click Here! >>
Your path to increase website traffic is usually a marathon, not a sprint.  It's possible to increase website traffic FAST, but you don't want to risk exploiting some short term gain or some 'loophole' that's here today and gone tomorrow.
But sometimes you just want a quick traffic boost for your new blog post.
The secret to pulling loads of traffic fast is doing what other site owners are not doing. This post will give you a few surefire ways to increase website traffic in under 30 minutes.
These traffic tips are simple to grasp, easy to implement and effective in bringing in highly-targeted traffic.
Here's the thing though - you can't ever ease up.  Free traffic requires content.  Paid traffic requires constant management and testing to optimize performance.  To run a successful digital business, you need to make sure that traffic is something you're prioritizing!
... Otherwise, all of your sales and revenue dries up.
Try them out and watch the number of visitors increase faster than ever before.
1. Promote massively on social media
When you think of traffic, what is the first method to come to mind? Right, social media. Almost every website owner has at least one social media profile.  Linkedin.  Facebook.  Instagram.  Twitter.  Youtube.  Each 'channel' has its users - many of whom are your buyers!
Promoting your blog content on social media is like trumpet calls to their digital doorstep. Every person who sees your site link on social media and is interested in the topic will want to click. The result? Instant boost in traffic.
When you engage with social users—directly or publicly by liking or re-sharing their posts, or just by engaging them in conversation—you introduce them to your brand. It takes some up-front work, but you could probably build an audience of thousands within weeks to serve as a scene for even further audience growth.
Start by sharing interesting content—your own blog posts, those of peers in your industry who've impressed you and anything that you feel has a chance to go "viral" and earn sharing from others.
For best results and really fast traffic, focus on the leading social networks:
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram
Pinterest
LinkedIn
You must’ve seen people insert different hashtags into their social media updates. Use trending hashtags and a link back to your site for an instant traffic boost. Hashtags expand the reach of your social media posts beyond your direct followers and help you reach new audiences.
Here's a tool top-hashtags.com to help you find the top hashtags to add to your posts for maximum exposure.
Now, what about some advanced ways to grab traffic from social media? A surefire way to increase website traffic fast is to tweet 15 to 20 influencers about your latest article. It won't take more than 30 minutes to send direct messages to a list you have previously compiled.
Choose influencers carefully. They need to be active, have a massive following and broadcast about topics that are closely related to your niche.
Use Buzzsumo's Influencers feature to find influencers in different social networks.
Another way to maximize your results from Twitter is to set a schedule to tweet your post six times over a 24-hour period.
Your tweet has an average life of fewer than 24 minutes. After that, your followers are not likely to see it. Tweet your link 6 times a day to attract as many eyeballs as possible.
Use a free service called Recurpost to schedule recurring posts.
Other premium tools that might help you schedule your posts and save time are CoSchedule and Hootsuite.
2. Use paid ads
Paid advertising works like a charm when you want to increase website traffic fast...  as fast as possible!  ie. Instantly! Paid ads require a budget and there's definitely a formula you should employ to get leads, but it’s totally worth spending money if you know who you want to attract and where you have them land on.
If you just run a Facebook ad with no strategy or sales funnel behind it to back it up, then you’ll receive inbound traffic to your site, but once you withdraw that budget, your traffic will disappear.
What you can do instead is:
Choose very carefully who you target with your ads,
Send people who click on your ads to a highly-relevant blog post,
Put advanced lead-generation and conversion tactics to keep new visitors on your lists. Such tactics are content upgrades, list building plugins and exit pops, and browser notifications.
All in all, advertising is a good strategy that is both profitable and fast. Here are some good options for fast paid traffic:
Facebook Ads
Instagram Ads
Twitter Ads
Outbrain/Taboola Ads
LinkedIn Ads
Google Adwords
Bing Ads
StumbleUpon Paid Discovery
Reddit Ads

PRO TIP: We run and optimize a LOT of paid traffic for our clients - Done For You Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.!  If you want to get into or start optimizing your paid media, click here!

3. Participate in question and answer sites
Quora is an online platform where people post their questions and seek answers. You can find questions on practically anything.
Quora is currently number 79 site in the US and number 133 in the world in terms of incoming traffic (source: alexa.com, January 2018). You don't want to miss out on potential traffic from a site that attracts hundreds of thousands of users per month.
To increase website traffic quickly, go to Quora and start answering questions that are directly related to your blog posts. At the end of each of your answers, post a link back to the most relevant blog post. This is free publicity for you and your brand right in the middle of a targeted audience.
Be careful though. Don't spam people with your links. You always need to be genuinely helping people with your answers. And then, at the end of the answer, give them a resource to learn more.
A lot of experts will jump in and answer a question extensively. So, don't be lazy; do your best to present a well-thought answer if you want to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise.
The best strategy with Q&A sites isn't to answer every single question that appears on your feed, but rather, to strategically offer high-value answers to the community. You can do that by spotting questions that are more difficult to answer, thus, get a small number of answers.
That kind of question is more likely to rank well for on-site search queries or on Google, and also get more social traffic or referrals from blogs. If you stick to the strategy of providing remarkable value to anyone who's honestly curious you will see an instant and long-term benefit to your blog.
Some people walk the extra mile and create a blog post to tackle really important questions. Quora is also an effective way to find blog post topics; Each good question gives you a topic that folks are heavily interested in.
4. Run contests and giveaways
Giveaways and contests are somewhat similar to paid advertising methods in the sense that you’ll need to invest some money upfront—usually in a hot tech product, an Amazon gift card, or something of value that your audience will crave.
Then, you run a contest where you ask the participants to perform some action to be entered into the giveaway. For example, you might ask them to share your contest page on social media.
Contests will have a big impact on growing your email list and boosting your blog traffic because folks simply love to get free stuff. A good contest will go viral and spread the word to more and more people, so it’s a perfect way to get widespread brand visibility faster than ever.
Make sure you follow up with all the new subscribers that will opt in for your mailing list so that you reap the long-term traffic benefit as well.
Rufflecopter is a full-featured tool that makes it simple to launch and manage a viral giveaway on any website.
5. Get visitors to come back to your site
Don’t let the anonymous user browse your site and then never come back. There are a bunch of tools today, that you can employ to grab people's email or cookie them, so you can get back to them at a later time.
This is a long term game right here.  With this model, it's about capturing website traffic and making sure you can reach out to them.  After that, you're able to increase website traffic instantly by simply posting something new - or sending an email!
People don’t bookmark sites anymore. If someone drops by your blog and finds it pretty interesting, you have a slim chance of them coming back anytime soon. That sucks and it shouldn't be the case. People are exposed to tons of information every day and they have busy lives. It’s impossible to remember every new resource we find online.
To tackle that issue and pull back some of these potential prospects, employ the following tactics:
Enable subscriptions via RSS Feed. This can be done using Feedburner on the sidebar of your site.
Grab their email address. Use optin form inline or at the end of the posts. Use welcome mats to grab the whole screen. You can use Sumo to do all that.
Ask them to allow browser notifications. PushCrew is a popular to that help you implement push notifications for mobile and web browsers
Use a Facebook Messenger bot. ManyChat is a simple tool that helps you create a chatbot and have people automatically allow Messenger communication and broadcasts.
Enable Facebook Page chat on your site. Facebook Customer Chat is a WordPress plugin to help you do exactly that. People are *always* on Facebook, so why not give them an easy way to chat with you using the service they’re already logged in?
Start building an email list with exit pops, content upgrades and so much more...
Once you've set up any of those tools, ideally all of them, you'll see an exponential growth in your subscriber base—no matter the medium. In time, you’ll be able to track which one of these strategies bring you more traffic. Finding out what plays well for your audience can help make fast traffic work in the long-term as well.
6. Guest post
When you’re looking to increase website traffic fast, what you need is an audience expansion. Guest posts are a good strategy for fast traffic gain because guest posts connect you and your brand with a new, laser-focused audience.
Guest blogging serves multiple functions but the most important fact is that a single guest post may give you instant access to an authority’s established audience.
The minute the guest post is published you get a possibility for direct traffic; The blog owner will most like promote that post on social media and send a link to their email list.
Frequent visitors will also see the new content and some of them will click your link to learn more about you and your services. Plus, as a long-term benefit, guest posts will help you in both SEO and content marketing.
Great content is a prerequisite for any effective traffic strategy. Given the limited resources that every entrepreneur has, you need the proper tools to make your content marketing as simple as possible.
So, in essence, guest blogging is one of the most effective strategies for quick traffic because new people who have never seen your work before getting exposed to your brand and ideas. You also get quality backlinks and references, which are a key part of the way search engines algorithm work.
Now, how do you find those guest posting opportunities for a quick traffic boost?
There are numerous smart methods to find blogs that accept posts for instant traffic but we will show you the easiest one:
Go to google and type in your niche and any of the following:
“Submit a guest post” / “Submit post” / “Submit blog post”
“Submit an article”
“Write for us”
“Become an author”
“Contribute to our site”
“Become a contributor”
“Become guest writer”
“Suggest a guest post”
“Send a guest post”
“Add blog post”
“Guest bloggers wanted”
“(Write for our) guest column”.
7. Be interviewed
Think of interviews as video or audio guest posts. There are advantages to getting interviewed on niche sites, podcasts, and vlogs.
Obviously, an interview published on another site will help you capitalize on their audience. This increases your website traffic, but more importantly, it helps your brand be seen by more people. It also adds to your efforts to be established as an authority in your niche. Why would anyone spend their time interviewing a professional if they're not important?
Because you will be perceived as an expert in your niche, people who come to check out your blog will be more likely to subscribe to your list and come back.
Use HARO to find an interview opportunity. HARO stands for Help A Reporter Out and is a service that used by news agencies like ABC and FOX.
When you sign up for HARO, which is totally free by the way, you will receive queries in your inbox every day. These queries come from bloggers, PR specialists, and reporters who are looking for expert insights, data, and opinions. You will often find opportunities to be interviewed or be part of an expert roundup.
Increase Website Traffic Fast WITH QUALITY VISITORS
Keep in mind that “fast” traffic might not always be good traffic—it’s possible that you don’t get a good ROI.
Whatever action you take on acquiring traffic fast, do your best to laser-target the audience that will see your brand. Whether it be niche blogs or targeted Facebook advertising, you are more like to get a good ROI on every dollar spent, when you know where your brand stands and who you want to attract.
And then, when it comes to the long-term benefit from your traffic strategies, SEO and content marketing are the top to utilize.
Never forget to publish good, valuable and search engine optimized content to position yourself strategically and be found organically.
Think of long-term traffic strategies and planting seeds to grow your own garden versus buying the vegetables directly from the farmers’ market.
So, try to keep these quick traffic methods in balance with your long-term tactics to reap the benefits of a 360° traffic strategy.

That is why we get so many questions like:
How do I drive free targeted traffic to my website?"
What's the best place to buy quality, targeted website traffic?"
How do I get more visitors from the US to my website?"
These are all valid questions given that every business wants more leads and clients; unfortunately, there's a veil that covers traffic generation tools, sources, and strategies. That is why we've put together this traffic generation Q&A article to lift the veil on traffic, debunk some common myths about targeted traffic sources, and save you some money you might waste buying fake traffic due to a lack of proper information.
Therefore, in this article about free and paid targeted traffic, we will answer all your traffic generation FAQs and more... Find anything missing. Shoot us a quick message on Facebook, and we’ll update this Q&A article automatically!
Where To Buy The Best Targeted Website Traffic For Your Sales Funnel
To begin with, let's briefly discuss why targeted website traffic is essential to a revenue-generating sales funnel. The purpose of having a funnel is to attract more leads, nurture them into qualified prospects, and finally convert them into paying customers. So, having targeted traffic, instead of generic visitors, coming you will be a resource saver. Not only will you spend less time and targeted visitors, but you will also have higher conversion rates and more sales in a shorter period.
Two Basic Types Of Website Traffic
But wait... What exactly is traffic? Put, web traffic is the internet users who visit your website. The higher the traffic volume, the more visitors your site gets. Accordingly, when you want to generate traffic, you want to attract more visitors to your website.
From a bird's eye view, there are two basic types of traffic: Paid and free.
Free traffic is when a visitor comes to your site in either of these two ways:
finding your pages in Google search results or
discovering your brand on other websites or social media.
Free traffic is often called organic traffic; sometimes, you can see it as search traffic or viral traffic.
Paid traffic is when you purchase...
advertising space on others’ websites
Search engine result pages (SERPs)
ad clicks from social media or email lists
... of driving traffic to your site. You might hear this type of traffic referred to as PPC or SEM, among other terms.
How To Drive Free Web Traffic
Turning to the actual ways to drive web traffic, a question we always get is, "How do I drive free targeted traffic to my offers?"
This is indeed one of the most popular questions.
Free organic traffic is arguably the best web traffic your web content must appear in SERP source for targeted leads. However, your web content must appear in SERPs to get to the point of a new visit.
But is this kind of traffic-free? Although you cannot buy organic visitors, you must spend money on content creation to rank on Google and eventually attract free targeted website traffic.
The myth lies in the idea that organic traffic has zero costs. This is not true. You do need to pay for content creation.
But what if you could create and publish content yourself? Wouldn’t that bring in free traffic? Well, yes, that's one way to look at it. Another way is that your time also costs money. So, traffic is not accessible because there is an opportunity cost involved.
So, why do people call organic traffic “free traffic?”  That is because they do the work ahead of time to reap lasting results in the long run.
Similarly, when it comes to free viral traffic, meaning traffic from content that becomes popular on social media, you probably need to hire someone to create engaging content that will have a chance to go viral.
Creating good content might require an upfront investment; however, it paves the path for generating perpetual free targeted web traffic in the future.
Where To Buy The Best Website Traffic (And Why...)
This point takes us to the question, "Why is it a wise decision to buy web traffic?" Purchasing ad views or clicks is the best way to generate unlimited traffic quickly. Buying clicks is the fastest way to bring new visitors to your website.
While Search Engine Optimization (SEO) takes time to bear fruit, Pay-per-click (PPC) will immediately boost page views.
Our advice? Paid traffic is the way to go if you have the budget.
You can get clicks to your ads even on a small budget. We will look at how you can accomplish that further in this post, where we talk about inexpensive traffic.
If you're wondering where to buy the best-targeted website traffic fast, read this helpful guide to learn advanced strategies to help you scale your business with Facebook Ads.  We will talk about where to buy the best website traffic down below...
First though...
Real human traffic vs. fake bot traffic
Before we dive further into answering more traffic FAQs, let us briefly debunk another myth. You might have come across sites that sell traffic or clicks, presumably from real human users on the internet. When you see advertisements such as these, you need to be cautious.
Some sites place your ad before the eyes of real people. So, for example, there might be a network of users who agree to receive email marketing messages. In return, they can send their email blasts to other users. This network is called a “safelist,” and the procedure is called “traffic exchange.”
Then, there are online services that promise to send you actual clicks, but what happens is that they use bots to emulate human behavior online. So, these bots, computer programs, in essence, click on your links and browse your sites as if they were human. That is why bots like that might appear in Google Analytics as real users, usually with a high bounce rate. Unfortunately, traffic scammers have improved in recent years. They can now deliver fake traffic with low bounce rates and seemingly accurate data, like source of traffic, country, type of browsing device and operating system, and more.
It would be best if you remembered that any service provider who cannot explain how they generate low-cost traffic is, in all likelihood, a con artist.
In brief, you should avoid spending your money on these types of services because, even if the users are real, they're not interested in what you offer. They're probably clicking on your links only to get some benefit as part of a safelist, and they won't pay attention to your offer.
Where To Buy The Best Targeted Website Traffic
Now that we've cleared up the myth of  “cheap clicks,” you are probably wondering where is a good place to buy website traffic.
There are different options. Let's look at the best places to buy targeted traffic that converts.
A. Google AdWords
Well, what can we say about Google? The search engine giant also dominates advertising.
A recent report estimates that Google and Facebook account for 73% of all digital advertising in the United States.
When setting up an ad on Google AdWords, you buy search or display traffic.
If you’re advertising for search, your ad will appear on SERPs when people search for your keywords.
On the other hand, display ads are mainly for displaying banners on third-party sites and for retargeting website visitors - meaning you'll have your ad shown to people who have already visited your site at least once.
Remembering that Google AdWords is one of the best ways to drive targeted traffic to your site would be best. Why? People who type in a search query are simultaneously expressing an interest in your keywords and intent before they finally click on your ads.  If your business solves a high-ticket problem, Google is one of the best places if you're wondering where to buy targeted website traffic...
B. Facebook (and other social media)
Now, with social advertising, which is advertising on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other networks, you also get targeted traffic, although it’s not search-based traffic. Who sees your ads on social media has to do with their demographics, profile, and declared interests. For example, you can target men aged 20-35 who have liked car-related business pages on Facebook. Or, you can target engaged women whose zodiac sign is Gemini.
“So, Google doesn’t have this kind of data?” you might ask. Of course, it does. With demographic targeting in AdWords, you can reach a specific subset of potential customers likely to be within a particular age range, gender, parental status, or household income. How does Google determine demographic information? Most people have a Google account, so Google knows more about their demographics and behavior than you would expect.
Compared to Facebook targeting, the difference is that you use demographics to narrow down your target audience. For example, while the trigger is a search query, you can filter out men from seeing your pregnancy yoga advertisement.
Another significant difference is that social advertising is still relatively cheap compared to Google Adwords. If you're on a small marketing budget, advertising on Facebook is an excellent alternative source of targeted traffic.
C. Outbrain/Taboola
Are you looking for alternative sources of affordable traffic? You know, sites where you can buy targeted website traffic off the beaten path?  There are content promotion networks, like Outbrain and Taboola, which can help your business attract a targeted audience.
Content promotion networks (or content discovery platforms) work by displaying your ad on blogs and other sites with related content, usually below a blog post. In this way, services like Taboola enable advertisers to attract engaged audiences while, on the flip side, these networks give the ability to publishers to monetize their online properties.
D. Solo ads
For marketers and business owners promoting products and services in niches such as...
making money online
network marketing
MLM schemes
Affiliate products
business opportunities
...solo ads are arguably the best way to go.
You can do email marketing using other people’s lists with solo ads. How it works is that you have a lone ad provider email their subscribers with your email copy, and you pay them by the number of link clicks you receive from that particular email blast.
Solo ads can be an affordable way to draw targeted visitors to your offer, but not all isolated ad services are legit. Again, there are fraudulent services that use bots to deliver fake clicks. How do you go about finding high-quality solo ad sellers? The simple answer is real-buyer reviews. Visit sites like udimi.com, a marketplace for solo ads. There, you can see reviews from previous buyers under each seller’s listing.
We will give more ideas on how to find quality solo ads further down this article.
Where Is The Best Place To Buy Targeted Traffic?
Now that we’ve explained the primary sources of targeted web traffic, it only makes sense to talk about how you can choose the best traffic source.
First, the best way to generate traffic is to try and test different sources. It’s a good practice to distribute your budget across various advertising media so you can find out which one delivers the best results to your business regarding conversion rate and sales revenue.
However, we understand that trying out different traffic sources is not always possible. In this case, if you're looking for the best place to buy website traffic, we must say that there's no single answer. It heavily depends on your industry, goals, budget, and other factors. If we had to put together a list of the top places to buy the best-targeted traffic, we would rank Facebook Ads and Google AdWords on the top 2 positions on that list, though not in a particular order.
The best way to do it is to schedule a free strategy call with us to help you clarify your paid advertising options. As soon as we know more about your niche, product, and budget, we’ll be able to capitalize on our multifaceted experience and determine what traffic source would work best for your business.
How do I go about buying targeted traffic that converts?
Targeted traffic doesn’t always convert well. For example, people subscribed to solo ad lists might suffer from email promotion fatigue (meaning they are constantly bombarded with offers via email and are likely not opening certain kinds of emails anymore). So, in some cases, even if those subscribers click your solo ad link and land on your page, they won’t convert. They’ve seen so many similar offers and even bought some of them that they’re overwhelmed or disappointed from not seeing the promised results.
Where can you find the best targeted high-converting traffic?
Again, the answer lies in the two leading paid traffic sources, Facebook and Google. Other PPC sources, like Bing Ads and Yahoo Gemini, can also bring you quality traffic - note that these networks have a smaller audience reach than Google AdWords.
According to recent stats, Google controls nearly 75% of the search market, while Bing and Yahoo are between 5% and 10% each.
That is why the advertising cost per click is usually cheaper on Bing and Yahoo compared to Google.
Another factor you need to consider when buying the best-targeted traffic that converts is where your audience finds themselves in the buyer’s journey continuum.
Let’s briefly go back to theory and explain how people go through stages before buying your product. The steps of the buyer’s journey are awareness, interest, consideration, evaluation, and purchase. In these two articles How to Create Content for Every Stage of the Buyer’s Journey  and How Content Marketing Drives Sales Throughout Your Buyer’s Journey we have explained more about these stages (although you might find some differences in the categorization) - and the point is this:
When you drive cold traffic to your offer, meaning visitors who have never seen anything about your brand before, it’s harder to drive conversions than to display your request to a warm audience. A friendly audience has come across your company's marketing material, and it’s even warmer if they interact with your brand.
So, a mistake you might make when looking to attract the best-targeted traffic is to expect a high conversion rate, even though these people have never heard of your brand before.
What you can do instead, if you want to see better conversion rates, is to deploy a sales funnel (also called marketing funnel) that will help to convert cold traffic into warm leads and advance people from the awareness stage to the evaluation and purchase stages.

What is the best web traffic source for targeted leads?
If your goal is not sales but leads, i.e., people interested in your offer who will subscribe to your mailing list, then cold traffic can convert well, given that your landing page is carefully designed.  That's one of the big things people wonder where to buy the best-targeted website traffic.
For example, our templates you can find inside your Scriptly account have proven to convert at a rate of 42% to 54%, depending on the niche, which is excellent performance.
To summarize, concluding the best traffic source for targeted leads is tricky because it depends on your niche, budget, and product. To reiterate what we’ve said before, it would be Facebook Ads or Google AdWords if we were forced to pick the top finalists for generating paid leads.
I’m only shipping to the States. How can I advertise on a USA traffic website?
If you want to restrict paid traffic to USA traffic only, it is certainly possible. In the case of USA traffic, there is the option to limit the origin of clicks to your ads, whether you’re buying solo ads, search traffic, display ads, or social network ads.
In other words, all platforms and advertising networks allow you to choose where you want your web visitors to be.
Traffic from “rich” English-speaking countries might also be referred to as “Tier 1 traffic,” indicating the tendency to consider USA, UK, Australian, and New Zealand traffic of higher quality because, as most marketers would agree, people from Tier 1 countries spend more money online on average.
What are the best websites to buy quality traffic?
Another question we often get is, “What are the best websites to buy quality traffic?” We need to know two fundamental pieces of information before answering this question: What do you mean by “best websites” and “how do you define quality traffic?”
Then, we need to know what your business goal is. Are you trying to acquire more leads, or are you trying to drive instant sales? Then, the conversation might lead to “How much is a lead worth to you?” All these pieces of the puzzle will help us paint the picture of “What are the best websites to buy quality traffic?”
Again, the best way we can offer personalized help is to discuss your particular needs over a free strategy call, which will give you clarity about the best advertising strategy for your product.
Sometimes, the same question (“What are the best websites to buy quality traffic?”) comes from marketers promoting MLM or network marketing offers. Also, affiliate marketers might pose a similar question. In this case, websites as traffic sources might refer to solo ad marketplaces.
Many affiliates also visit Facebook groups where buyers post reviews of solo ad sellers. This way, you can see what others are saying about ad sellers, and you’ll be able to pick the ones who seem trustworthy.
Is there a way to buy website traffic using a free trial?
We recently received the above question and thought it was pretty strange. "Where to buy the best-targeted website traffic with a free trial?" What could that mean? The client said he wanted to try different paid traffic methods before taking hard out of pocket. Before spending money, he needed proof that the traffic system worked.
As explained earlier in this article, free trials and promises of free premium traffic are often a hideout for scammers.
There are con artists online trying to take advantage of legit business owners who want to drive quality traffic to their sites. These scammers use traffic bots, i.e., automated programs that open your page and are misinterpreted by Google as real visitors, although they’re just machines.
So, be careful when you read claims like “free premium quality traffic” unless you generate traffic from posting your content on social media.
Unfortunately, some people want to persuade you to believe that they’re sending real traffic to your site while all they’re doing is sending fake clicks.
Again, social media posting and engaging with your audience is an effective way to get free traffic. When coming across other supposedly free traffic methods, please be cautious and ask for proof.
It’s always better to invest your small budget in a traffic source you can verify (Facebook, for example) than to waste your dollars on something seemingly inexpensive that will cost you much more money, time, website reputation, and sanity.
How to buy cheap website traffic
Low price might be your top deciding factor if you’re marketing your business on a small budget.
In our experience, Facebook is the best way for inexpensive website traffic.
How people understand the meaning of “inexpensive” is subjective. Different people mean different things with “cheap traffic.” Some affiliate marketers who run solo ads consider a $0.35 per click cheap. But what if y000 clicks and converts none of those into sales? What if the leads you get are “dead,” meaning non-responsive to your emails?
So, what “cheap website traffic” or “cheap targeted web traffic” really means is that you can attract web visitors and convert them into profitably paying customers. If you can’t make money from the traffic, “cheap” suddenly becomes “expensive.”
So, how do you know if your traffic drives profits? To be profitable
“Revenue Attributed to PPC” must be higher than “Total PPC Cost.”
Here’s how you can calculate those numbers - you can also find additional help in this article: Early-stage SaaS Startups Should Track These Important KPIs
CPC X Number of Clicks = Total PPC Cost
Number of Clicks X Customer Conversion Rate X Average CLV = Revenue Attributed to PPC
Here’s another post in case you want to learn more about handy metrics for paid advertising.
How to buy AdSense-safe traffic
This question comes from website owners who monetize their online properties using Google AdSense. You probably know that Google can be harsh with publishers who don’t conform to AdSense policies. If Google detects fake traffic to a website part of the AdSense network, it will immediately and irreversibly close that account.
With that in mind, the best way to go about AdSense-safe traffic is to invest in good, search-engine-optimized content, which will slowly but steadily attract organic traffic.
Our advice is to never buy website traffic with the sole purpose of getting ad clicks. It would be best to look at ad clicks as a byproduct of quality traffic.
How do I boost traffic to my website?
Now, whether you need to get a decent amount of ad clicks or a significant revenue increase, you must find ways to boost traffic to your website. We’ve written two solid articles on how to get more visitors to your site fast, and you can find them here and here.
In those articles, you will find actionable advice on instantly boosting your traffic, even if you have a newly built website.
How to generate traffic for an affiliate offer
Facebook doesn’t like affiliate marketers. Period. Why? Many affiliate marketers have abused advertising channels to drive traffic to deceiving offers, like push-button money-making methods and weight-loss programs with guaranteed results.
Having said that, if your affiliate offer abides by the advertising guidelines, there’s no reason you can’t use Facebook to drive traffic to your affiliate offers.
Also, note that many email marketing platforms will ban accounts for including affiliate links in their emails. AWeber is arguably the friendliest platform for affiliate marketers since it lets you have direct links to affiliate offers in your email copy.
So, how can you generate traffic for an affiliate offer without the risk of losing your email or ad account? Experienced marketers often create a written or video review of the software, course, or product they want to promote as affiliates. They also spice it up with valuable bonuses. Then, they use paid ads to drive traffic to that content.
Take Amy Porterfield as an example. Amy is open about being affiliated with Marie Forleo’s B-School, an exceptionally successful online program for people wanting to build an internet business. During annual B-School launches, Amy publishes content in different forms and on various media to increase sign-up to B-School for a chance to get a significant commission. Here’s an example of such content.
She’s even created a dedicated Facebook group to engage her audience further.
Here’s another excellent example of how you can promote affiliate offers - and this example comes from our posts. This post highlights the value of email marketing and the importance of choosing the best email marketing software. It provides an honest review and a comparison of different platforms, allowing visitors to sign up for those services via our affiliate links.
We hope these examples helped you get ideas on how you can promote affiliate products effectively. If you want to dive into more related content, here’s a post with ten ideas for promoting a digital product and another specifically for marketers who want to generate traffic for an affiliate offer.
Finally, this resource explains more about where to buy targeted website traffic.
How do I retarget USA visitors on my website?
Some of our clients, who have spent time educating themselves on traffic, often ask us about retargeting subsegments of web visitors.
Retargeting (or remarketing) is indeed pure gold; it’s essential to conversion rate optimization (CRO). In other words, to achieve the highest possible conversion rates from the same traffic volume, you must add retargeting to your marketing arsenal.
Before explaining how you can retarget USA visitors on your website, here’s a complete guide to CRO with retargeting.
Now, assuming a part of your incoming traffic is from the US, you need a way to retarget those people to promote a product that you ship to the US addresses only. Or perhaps simply because you want warm Tier 1 traffic returning to your site.
To do that, you can use either Facebook or Google paid advertising. Both services give you a tracking code (Facebook calls it a “Pixel”), which you must set up on your website before running retargeting campaigns. When the code is set up correctly, the advertising platform drops a cookie in the user’s browser. After this happens, you can retarget them. With retargeting, you can also narrow the target audience to include only people from a specific country.
Retargeting via AdWords
Here’s how it’s done in AdWords:
When you’re creating a new campaign, choose “Display”:
Then, in the next step, you’ll be asked about the campaign goal - and you can choose anything as long as it is a “Standard display campaign.”
Then, on the next page, you’ll be given the option to choose what country you want to retarget…
At the bottom of the same page, you must choose "remarketing." That’s it.
Retargeting via Facebook
If you want to retarget USA visitors on your website using Facebook Ads, then what you need to do on an Ad Set level is first to choose a custom audience and then the location.
Your custom audience will be extracted from your Facebook Pixel, and then by choosing a location, you can narrow down your remarketing audience to include US residents only.

Way back when I worked at Pepsi, we used to run a Flash Sale ever another weekend on close-dated pop...
Whenever we found something close to going out of date, we'd slap a sticker on it for 50% off and push it in a cart up to the registers in the front.
Within a few days, all the close-dated pop would be gone, and I didn't have a manager breathing down my neck anymore...  Problem solved.
The very first time I got an email announcing a "Flash Sale," that's what I thought of...  And since then, it seemed that everyone and their brother was doing these 'timed sales', which tells me one thing...
They work!
So, we started running our own, in lots of different niches and on lots of different products...  All with fantastic success!
And when you think about it, Groupon and Woot have used this idea of a Flash Sale to build their entire business model!  And don't get me started on Black Friday...  Black Friday is a collection of Flash Sales, all day long!
I share all this to say...
Flash Sales should be a part of what you do.  There are plenty of benefits to a Flash Sale, and by the end of this post, you'll have a great idea of how to get one launched in your business...
What Is A Flash Sale (In Marketing Terms)
The whole goal of a Flash Sale is to get a prospect to take action, using scarcity and discounts as the motivational tools behind it.  Traditional advertising like billboards and customisable pens don't work for urgency...
When your prospects know that they only have 3 days to purchase for an extreme discount, each day that passes makes their activities more and more urgent - if they want what they're selling of course!
For instance, over the weekend, Woot had a FitBit wristband for sale.  I saw the email but didn't take action.  I logged in this morning (knowing of course that it'd be gone), and it was...
And I kicked myself for not checking the site sooner!
The same thing will happen to your customers.  They'll understand that you're giving them a HUGE discount.
They'll know that they have a few days to buy.
And if they don't, they lose out!
Why Flash Sales Work
Fear of loss is a very powerful motivator.
Now, there's a reason why we see Flash Sales all over the place.  Honestly, it's not about the income they produce (especially if you're selling a digital product).
If you have a video course that's $47 and you discount it to $7 for a 3-day Flash Sale, that's a big break for your customers.
But...  If you sell 100 copies, you've only made $700.
The REAL reason you run Flash Sales is to get more of your customers into an upsell funnel.
Let me repeat that so you get it...
The REAL reason you run a Flash Sale is to get more customers into your upsell funnel.
If you have a $7 front end offer and then the next offer in the upsell funnel is $47, you might have 30% or 40% who take you up on that!
And, if there's a second upsell at $197, you might have 10% who take you up on that!!
So, the $7 front end product is more about qualifying buyers than anything else, and moving them through your upsell process.  If you want to move more of your prospects to buyers - run a Flash Sale!

PRO TIP: If you need a sales funnel set up with upsell and down-sell copy...  Or just someone who knows what they're doing to look at the one you built and optimize it...  Click here to book an Action Plan call!

Closing The Flash Sale Down
At the end of the Flash Sale, you need to close it down.
That means you can stay up until midnight or whenever it's all done and redirect the page... Or you can employ any one of the countdown widgets to redirect the page for you.
I use the OptimizePress template which has a countdown widget as part of it.  Once the clock hits zero, the page redirects somewhere else.  Usually, to a "Thanks, but you missed it!" page.
You might get some emails about extending the sale for a customer due to some special case, but that's for you to make the call on...
You just want to make sure that publicly, the page is closed when you say it's going to be!
Executing Your Flash Sale
There are 4 steps to running a highly profitable... And if you want the Flash Sale Email Sequence then click here
They aren't tricky and most of the complicated work is probably already done for you...
It'll involve changing the price of one of your products, figuring out how long your Flash Sale should be in place for, and letting your audience know about it!
Choosing Your Offer
You can choose any front end product or service to do a Flash Sale with, but the best ones are always your newer offers or the one that stands out as your best.
If you're releasing something new into the market, a Flash Sale might be a great way to get it out there and generating some sales quickly, or...
Free Plus Shipping book offers or new digital product launches are great for this kind of timed event.
If you've got a flagship, lower-end product that always serves as one of the best in terms of moving folks from being prospects to paid customers - use that one.
You want to be able to offer it at a substantial discount, so the publicly available price should be $37 or more...
Maybe you have a video course that sells for $67 or an ebook that sells for $47...  It doesn't matter how much it normally sells for - you just want the discount to be pretty substantial!
Nothing gets people's attention more than an email that says, "Get 80% off today!"
How Long Is A Flash Sale?
When putting together your Flash Sale, make sure to put a time limit in place.
In thinking about the question, "How long do flash sales last?" You want to consider one very important thing...  How long it's going to take folks to find out about your offer.
If you've got an email list and do a lot of email marketing...  Your flash sale can be 24 hours because all you have to do is send out an email.
If, however, you are running a paid traffic campaign, then it might have to be 3 days as it'll take at least a few hours for the ads to get approved!
We've found that 3 days works the best for digital products, physical products, and software.  If you're promoting a service, you might need a little longer.
Sometimes, the best flash sales last only a day...  24 hours.  If you've got an email list or distribution that's pretty engaged with you, a 24-hour flash sale can work.  If you're hustling for every shred of traffic you get though, you're going to want to make it a little longer.
One of the reasons we keep it to a multi-day process is to make sure that everyone on the list sees the email at least once...  If we make it 12 hours or 24 hours, there's a good chance that folks on your list won't see it!
The 3-day Flash Sale also allows for folks who aren't quite as diligent about checking their email or who are busy...
At the end of the day, remember that every single one of the emails you send out is going to a real, live person who has their commitments, obligations, and lives of their own!
Letting Your Audience Know
Of all the ways to drive traffic to a website, there are very few as dependable and quantifiable as sending out an email to your list!
Your email list is made up of people who have expressed interest in you and your products at some point in the past - it only makes sense that they'd be interested in a Flash Sale!
Use the Flash Sale announcement as a reason to communicate with them, even if you haven't had that much interaction with them recently...
You'll be surprised how many of your prospects will jump into your fold once they learn about the discount that you're giving (and the fact that it's going away in so many days!)
The Final Push
It's easy to forget sometimes, but the last email on the last day that you send is what will drive 70% of your sales...
4 or 5 hours before the promotion is set to end, email your list one last final reminder to jump in.  You'll notice a steady stream of buyers come in the hours between when that email is sent and when the offer closes.
That means, more people in your upsell sequences where you can start bumping up the average customer value of your buyers!
Launching Your Flash Sale
Inside this Flash Sale Autoresponder Template...
You'll get a 4 email, 3-day template that you can use to promote a Flash Sale to your list.  Included in the template are:
Directions on when to mail it out
The exact subject lines that have been proven to increase open rates
Email body copy that's more effective in getting someone to click to a Flash Sale

Today we are going to talk about SMS text message marketing and using texts to close more deals...
Now, SMS marketing and text message marketing hit big-time like two or three years ago.  I remember thinking, "Wow, it's so terribly unfortunate that we marketers are going to be abusing this platform that is very near and dear to a lot of people's hearts." We're just going to ruin it (ie. like Pinterest, Twitter, etc...)
So, I had a lot of trepidation about SMS marketing and text message marketing just because it just seems like such an invasion of someone's privacy.  When I get a text message, I assume it's from a friend or a family member... And that it is much more urgent than an email but not quite as urgent as like a phone call.
So, it was just my expectation around text message marketing that needed to be changed - not the technology or the platform itself.
Now, the reason I bring it up now is that people are using SMS marketing and text message marketing a lot more frequently, in a lot of good ways. It actually has served to boost conversions in a lot of marketing automation workflows that we've rolled out too, when used right.
When To Use SMS Marketing
Text messages engage prospects in a different way than just email or just phone calls.
So much so, that we actually built it directly into Axis, our business growth platform, because from a marketing automation standpoint hitting people with one touch is great...  Hitting people with two different touches at about the same time is even better.
Where Text Message Marketing Works
So, here's an example.
Let's say you own a window company. You have a crew that goes out and puts windows in houses. Somebody visits your website, does a bit of research on the brand of windows you recommend, and then they fill out a form for more information. They want you to call them back at some point to schedule an estimate...
Now. put yourself in their shoes.  They've just filled out a form on their website.  Immediately they should get an email afterward, saying, "Hey, thanks so much. We will get back to you ASAP." That's normal, right?
Now, the problem is that person probably isn't checking their email at that moment. So, you may tell them that there is an email coming to their inbox, but they probably aren't going to go log in to their email at that very second.
I can't tell you how many things I've signed up for and I haven't gone and checked my email when a web page told me to. I think to myself, " The next time I'm in my email I'll just see it."
Then, I forget.
How SMS Marketing Engages More Prospects
Well, imagine taking that little customer-getting campaign one step further and sending an email AND THEN a text message right afterward!  So, somebody signs up for a sales appointment and not only do they get an email (that they may or may not check!) but they also receive a text message immediately! Their phone is probably in a pocket or it's sitting somewhere around the keyboard that they are filling in that form with.
That is the power of SMS marketing and text message marketing when it's done right.
How about appointment reminders? Or discount codes? Think about all of the little marketing things that are time sensitive and the only way that we really have to get in front of somebody is email or phone...
SMS Marketing Automation
Right now, you probably are not calling each of your customers every time you run a promotion.  You probably don't have a call center who's doing cold calling or leaving voice mails.  What you're probably doing is sending an email and that's it...  Not multiple emails - just one.  That's a shame too.
Imagine being able to send an email and a text message at the same time, reminding them that this promotion is going on right now!  Take it a step further - adding them to a marketing automation workflow that sends them an email and an SMS message once a day for the next 5 days while the promotion is on!
So, inside Axis, we took all of the headaches out of sending SMS messages and text messages to your contact list.
You can send a text message right from your customer's contact record itself...
Send An SMS Message Your Entire Contact List?
Or right from the contact dashboard, sending an SMS message to your whole list even!
Basically, you log in, select which contacts you want to receive the text message, write the text message, and hit send.  That's it.  It's out the door.  Your prospects will get it seconds after you hit send inside Axis. And not only can you send broadcast text messages, but you can also add these text messages into your marketing automation campaigns!
Combining Email Marketing And SMS Into A Single Marketing Automation Campaign
After that text message is set up inside an Axis campaign, whenever someone fills out a form on your website, gets tagged inside of Axis, or triggers a campaign... In other words, they move into a marketing automation campaign... They get email #1 and SMS message #1.  Then a day goes by and they get email #2 and SMS message #2.  A few more days go by, they get the third email and text...  And on it goes!
So, the key here is using SMS marketing or text message marketing in a way that deepens a relationship with your prospect and engages your customers on a whole different level. That is why we built it into Axis.
... And SMS Is Painless To Set Up
And the beauty is, you don't have to set up some stupid middleware plugin to make text messaging work in your marketing automation (or to send a text message for that matter).  You don't have to go set up the text message service or pay out of pocket for some plugin plus each and every text message you send.
Literally, you log in, you upload your contacts, choose who you want to text, and hit the "Send Text" button.
To make a long story short, there are lots of different ways you can use SMS marketing and text message marketing to engage your customers more deeply. Some of the things it's perfect for are appointment reminders, discount codes, and any other kind of a notification that is more urgent than just an email.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to book a strategy session with my team and I. Go to consultingsession.com and we can look at SMS messages, your marketing automation campaigns, and figure out what you can be doing better to generate more revenue from the leads that are coming in.

On the one hand, good marketing and publicity drive the online reputation of a company. On the other hand, great sales drive a business.  So, the question is always, "How-to increase online sales fast?
With effective ways to boost eCommerce sales fast, you can create a sustainable model for your business that grows exponentially in a fairly short period of time. In the digital world, it is important that you work smart instead of hard.
Today, you can apply hacks/tricks to ensure that your online sales receive the necessary boost to make a strong impact on the market.
How to Increase Online Sales Fast
Wondering where you are going wrong?  Today we're going to talk about how to increase online sales fast.  In other words, how to boost website sales using the most straightforward method I know of that's worked for our Done For You Marketing clients...
Truly, it's a question we get asked all the time.  Folks write in an ask us for tips to increase online sales quickly?
And oftentimes, the answer really... It depends on your product - the thing you're selling! 90% of the time though, the way to increase your online sales fast is to do some webinar marketing with an automated webinar.
There are some caveats to that.
To Increase Online Sales Fast, You Either Need A Following...
First of all, in order to have a webinar and start selling online quickly, you need to have an email marketing list or some other kind of platform that you can market to.
That following can be on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and all the other social networks.  Social followers are very loose followers. I mean, they might register for a webinar or they might not... It depends mostly on just what that relationship is.
If you have 200 friends and family, chances are it's not going to be a great audience to launch a webinar to.
If however, you have 200 followers who have followed you because they like your blog posts, your posts on Medium, or they like your Quora posts, then that's a very different story.  They are actually following you for the reason that you want to hold the webinar.  They're prospects and should be interested in your product or your service.
Or You Need An Email List...
The other way of marketing your webinar is to have an email list. We talk a lot on Done For You about email lists, marketing automation, and CRM's; and there's a reason for that. Email out-converts pretty much everything. You have an email list for years once it's built or as it's building. You can market whatever you want. You can promote whatever products you want - your own offers or your affiliate offers. Your business can take different directions and your list follows you because you have that relationship with your audience.
If you have even a small email list and an offer that you put a webinar together on, that is the ticket to increasing your sales fast.
... If You Don't Have An Email List Or Followers, Can You Still Increase Online Sales Fast?
If you don't have an audience and you don't necessarily have any social network followers, then it's going to be a long road.
Blogging and content marketing is your best bet unless you have an ad budget and can stand to do some paid ads like Google and Facebook advertising!
Generating a lot of revenue is less about the product, really; and more about distribution.  If you have hundreds or thousands of people a day coming to your website, then they will buy stuff from you when you make it available to them.  But if you just have offers on a website without any traffic coming to you, paid or free, then you're not going to be able to sell them. There's nobody to sell!
The internet is not one of those things where you build it and they will come.  They won't.
You own one website out of the billions that are out there. With a website, there is no foot traffic or people driving by your retail location... They just don't know your website exists unless you let them know!
Creating The Right Type Of Offer To Boost Website Sales
To boost website sales, you need to create an event where people want to purchase your product or service, and then you want to tell people about that.
Three years ago now, we had a client come to us. He had an email list of 1100 people. He tried everything with webinars, tried everything you can possibly think of. He went the high-dollar coaching route and everything else, so 1100 people on his email list.
He had the same question to me. It was right around Christmas time and he was like, "Jason, how can I make money from my website fast?" My answer, "Well, what we can do is we can put a webinar together for you. We can run it at the beginning of January, after Christmas of course. Using your email list, we'll mail for it for three or four days, and then I'll be on the webinar with you. We'll script it for you. We'll practice a couple of times and then go live on the webinar."
Before this ^^^^ conversation, he barely made anything online.
Case Study: $22,000 In Sales In 5 Days
After the webinar we wrote for him, he generated $22,000 in five days. So, the webinar went live, he mailed out our webinar replay sequence, and within five days he generated $22K...  Straight to the bank account.
Then, the next month he did the exact same thing. He ran another webinar and did another $22,000 in sales!
So for the next six months - we did a new webinar every month!
Then, We Added Some Marketing Automation
After the string of profitable live webinars, we automated all of the webinar promotions and started driving paid traffic into the front side of his sales funnel...  Into his lead magnet.  Then the rest of it just kind of came out of the marketing automation sequence.
So, that, my friend, is how to generate sales online fast.
Figure out what it is you want to sell
Put a webinar together
Put it in front of an audience and have them sign up.
The very first webinar I ever did, I had four people who registered for the webinar. Of those four people, three attended, two purchased. It was my first thousand-dollar day, off of a webinar where I was stuttering and stammering...
Need MORE Ways To Increase Online Sales Fast?  Here You Go!
Here are the top 15 tactics that should be in your playbook to boost online sales.
1. Resell, cross-sell and upsell
In the competitive environment on the internet, it is hard to retain your customers. With so many options in the market, your customers will most likely shift to another brand very quickly if you don’t constantly provide value.
With an eCommerce store, you can unlock the potential of upselling, cross-selling and reselling at a rapid pace. Let’s take a small example. Say you own an online gadget store. Today, you’ve sold a brand new mobile phone. Now, if you think about it, you can sell a lot of accessories that go hand in hand with a mobile phone: cover, charger, earphones, screen protector, warranty scheme, etc. With this tactic, you can easily generate more revenue from a single customer again and again.
2. Create a secure website
Cybersecurity is a major concern for shoppers these days.
In the last five years, 46% of Americans have been the victims of credit card fraud.
The best way to get popular on the internet is to create a website that is trustworthy. Google ranks the trustworthy websites amongst the first few pages of its search results. On the other hand, the other websites get pushed way back. If your website is not already a trusted source, act on it today!
You need to make sure that your website appears in the HTTPS format instead of the conventional HTTP format. Customers will most likely visit websites with the latter format.
3. Create a mobile-first index
The top eCommerce websites know the importance of creating a mobile-first index for their customers. Most of these websites have an application for both iOS and Android to help their customers shop via their smartphones.
Popular eCommerce platforms like Walmart and Amazon often launch app-exclusive offers for their customers who shop from their mobile applications.
The mobile-friendly interface will allow prospective customers to look and shop for products on the go. If you are going to hire a web development agency for the mobile version of the eCommerce website, ask it to develop a responsive screen resolution design instead of an adaptive one.
An in-depth look at the mobile-first index
Here’s what the official post from Google Webmasters has to say about the mobile-first index. Hang on, because this is a big paragraph.
To make our results more useful, we’ve begun experiments to make our index mobile-first. Although our search index will continue to be a single index of websites and apps, our algorithms will eventually primarily use the mobile version of a site’s content to rank pages from that site, to understand structured data, and to show snippets from those pages in our results. Of course, while our index will be built from mobile documents, we’re going to continue to build a great search experience for all users, whether they come from mobile or desktop devices.
Mobile-first indexing is pretty much what it sounds like. From now on, Google will primarily consider the mobile version of your site to rank it in Google (both the mobile and desktop versions).
That means if you have a site optimized for mobile, you’ll rank well on both mobile and desktop.
On the other hand, if your site doesn’t perform well on mobile, your rankings will sink on both mobile and desktop.
This is a bold move by Google. Bold, but necessary.
In short, to rank well on Google with the mobile-first index, you need one important ingredient: a responsive mobile-optimized site.
4. Attract customers with discounts
The best way to attract new customers is to offer large discounts. If you have garnered a reputation for the platform on the internet, it will be easy for you to directly establish partnerships with banks and product manufacturers.
With this newly formed partnership, you can launch premium products exclusively on your website or go with cashback schemes for customers who have accounts with the banking partner.
5. Use the holiday period to your advantage
The holiday period is when the traffic on your website will most likely increase in an exponential manner. Is Christmas just a week away? Perfect! This is the time when you launch new and attractive schemes for your customers.
Instead of raising the prices to an all-new high, you should lower your margin a little to make a high quantity sale. Keep in mind that profits are made on selling affordable products in large quantities.
You also need to invest in marketing the offers on your website. Consider the Amazon Prime Day sale, for example. This sale lasts for only 24 to 72 hours but brings in exponential amounts of revenue for the company.
6. Set up convenient payment options
Setting up flexible payment options is the fastest way to increase your online sales.
When you have online as well as COD (Cash On Delivery) payment options, customers will automatically place their trust in you. Once you have established a strong relationship with your customers, you can ask them to put money in an online wallet with your platform.
This way, they can buy the product with just one click. Psychology suggests that this type of convenience increases the chances of purchase by a significant amount.
 7. Use social media to your advantage
When you host an eCommerce platform you cannot just sit back and wonder how to boost sales. Instead, you can use the free and easily accessible resources at your disposal.
With social media, you can easily make sure that your campaigns reach out to more and more people at a time. You can use social media for both fresh as well as remarketing ventures.
Amazon uses platforms like Facebook and Instagram for heavy remarketing. The next time you log in to one of these social media platforms look at the ads carefully. These ads will most likely be from Amazon on the items that you have already checked out but not purchased yet.
8. Invest in SEO
SEO is your biggest ally in the competition on the internet. With the right SEO techniques, you can stay one step ahead of your competitors and make sure that your website comes out on top of the search results.
SEO allows you to target specific keywords that customers will most likely type in the Google search bar while looking for products. SEO will also help you build a reliable online brand image with effective backlinks.
9. Ping abandoned cart owners
Several people who come to your website will add their favorite items in the cart, look at the checkout price and then quit the website. They will not check out because the price is too high.
Under such circumstances, you have already won half the battle. You have already captured the attention of the customer. Now, all they need is the final push. You can ping these people on their email or via a notification from the app.
A notification is as simple as "Your shopping cart is waiting for you" can help them make the final decision and purchase the product from your platform.
10. Invest in email marketing
Use email marketing to your advantage.
You must have a good CRM and marketing automation tool like HubSpot or Pardot to truly boost your sales to the next level.
With email marketing, you can easily carry out remarketing as well as notification operations in a personalized manner. Instead of spending millions of dollars on generic marketing, you can spend a few thousand dollars in a highly focused marketing campaign and get an excellent return on your investment.

11. Create an appealing website
This one is a no-brainer. In the initial stages, instead of focusing on increasing the range of products that you offer, you should focus on creating an appealing website.
All popular eCommerce websites start out slow. Websites like Amazon and Walmart started their business by selling books.
Now they have grown to such a level that they can sell laptops, TVs and washing machines worth several thousand dollars in an instant.
12. Optimize website content
An optimized and well-organized website will draw more attention than one that has more products. With website optimization, you can reduce the time that it takes to load, significantly.
Your customers will most likely check out at least 3-4 different eCommerce platforms for the same product.
If your web pages load faster, you have an upper hand in boosting sales.
13. Showcase genuine product reviews
Ecommerce websites have matured significantly over the past few years. People genuinely trust these platforms to deliver the right products on time.
However, they still want an incentive to rely on your platform. In such cases, you should showcase genuine product reviews from the buyers of the particular product.
How to get these reviews? Well...simple: email marketing. Ask the existing customers to rate the product and write a short review.
14. Invest in content marketing
Investment in content marketing is the wisest decision that you can make for your eCommerce store.
With the right investment in SEO, website optimization, and content marketing, your platform will climb up the ladder of search engine results.
We must admit, this is not the fastest way to increase online sales. Having said that, some of the pages you optimize for SEO have the potential to rank pretty fast and get you free organic traffic to your eCommerce store.

Having a Mobile App Funnel that converts is similar in some ways to a more traditional Done For You Sales Funnel...  But, there are some notable differences due to App Stores.
According to MarketingLand, by the year 2019, 72% of the entire digital ad spending in the US is going to be on mobile advertisements.
Another exciting statistic making waves in the industry is that almost half of customers start their search for a product or service from a search engine while one third go the website directly.
Newer metrics indicate that there are 1 million new Internet users per DAY, due largely to smartphones.
Looking at all these numbers, it becomes quite evident that investing in mobile app marketing is the smartest thing a business can do at the moment. And, when it comes to marketing the first thing that instantly pops up into the head is marketing funnels.
In today’s post, we will share information on mobile app marketing funnels and how they differ from the usual marketing funnels. Plus, we will also touch upon the topic of how marketers can leverage marketing funnels for their business to good effect.
So, let us begin.
Mobile App Marketing Funnels
A mobile app conversion funnel is similar to a traditional marketing funnel; the entire process is divided into 5 stages in the mobile app marketing funnel, as well.
Stage 1 – Exposure and Discovery: Making the Customer Reach Your Business
The biggest difference between a traditional marketing funnel and the mobile app marketing funnel lies in the first stage. The reason for this is simple.
In mobile app marketing, downloading a paid app is the ultimate purchase decision that the user has to make, whereas in traditional marketing the final purchase decision is buying the product or service. Time taken in the former is much less when compared to the latter, usually.
However, there is no denying that the next stages, i.e. the exposure and discovery stages, hold prominence in the mobile marketing funnel.
Now, the one question that lurks around in the case of the mobile app conversion funnel is: How do the users find the apps? Here’s a graph that gives you all the numbers:
So, you can see that app store searches are the number one way for people to search and find an app they are looking for.
Strategies for Stage 1
Both paid and organic marketing strategies can work great to get your app to reach a greater number of people. Some of the strategies that marketers can use here include:
Organic strategies
Word of mouth publicity
App store optimization
Social media marketing
Social bookmarking, internet forums and more
Paid strategies
Affiliate marketing tactics
Retargeting
App advertising
Stage 2 - Consideration: Building Trust Signals
How does a business build trust signals? By showcasing its achievements and customer satisfaction, right?
The same thing rings true for mobile apps, as well.
For a mobile app, app ratings are the best way to showcase how good it is. Ratings build social proof, and studies show that social proofs go a long way in enticing the customer to download the app.
Studies show that more than 85% of customers won’t download an app from the app store if it is rated 2 or below.
Strategies for Stage 2
Build an app page
App stores allow you to add information about your mobile app by creating a dedicated page. You can even add a video. So, use it to your best possible advantage.
Ratings and reviews
As stated above, getting your user rating to 4 stars or above can serve as the biggest trust factor. You need to work towards achieving this goal.
Stage 3 – Conversion: Getting Them to Finally Download the App
Although the primary goal of conversion in mobile app marketing is to get the customer to download the app, its meaning may vary depending on business needs.
For some conversion might be an in-app purchase while for others it could be a subscription to the app.
Based on what the definition of conversion is for your business, you need to work on the strategies for mobile app marketing.
Strategies for Stage 3
Here are some of the tactics you can employ to build a better conversion rate –
Smooth onboarding – create a meaningful flow so that the user can download the app as smoothly and effortlessly as possible
Visual design elements – close to 40% of the users part ways with an app because of poor user-interface. So, you know what to do
Stage 4 –Relationships: Providing Value in the Long Run
Just like traditional marketing, the mobile app conversion funnel also revolves around building relationships. The only thing is that you get a little less opportunity to interact with the customer.
As an app marketer, you need to make the best use of whatever little you get.
Strategies for Stage 4
Finding the right moment – whenever and wherever possible, ask for feedback. Focus on customer service and the users' experience with using the app.
Personalize communication – use customer data to personalize your mobile app communication, and you can easily win the customer over.
In-app messaging – in-app feedback, message center options, and similar other strategies can work great for the success of your app. So, make good use of them!
Stage 5 – Customer Retention: Offering Them a Great Experience
It is an age-old fact that, in the world of marketing, acquiring a new customer can cost a business many times more than retaining a customer.
The same is the case here.
Great customer service and making sure that you are in constant touch with your customers are great ways to achieve this.
Strategies for Stage 5
To master Stage 5, here are some strategies you can try.
Ask for feedback – studies show that 98% of users respond positively when asked for feedback. By asking for feedback, you are staying in constant touch with the customer, and also getting to know how you can improve.
Reward programs – another great way to keep your customers using your mobile app for the long haul is by offering special reward programs for mobile users; for instance, encourage them to use mobile apps to make a purchase and, in return, give them a great discount.
Building & Launching a Mobile App Funnel
An app funnel is a kind of like a traditional marketing funnel in a lot of ways.  The main notable difference is your reliance on the app stores to fulfill your app and, in a lot of cases, bring in new users.
Now we've worked with a couple of different mobile app publishers and Android/iOS development organizations that create apps for companies as a service. Because of that, we know that mobile app funnels are very different beasts than a traditional marketing funnel with trigger marketing and marketing automation. One thing is for sure, you'll need a lot of email marketing to pull it off!
At the end of the day, you have a bunch of people who are downloading your app from a marketplace.  Then, you have a smaller subset of people who are buying something through in-app purchases. They are paying money for the app, functionality, or something delivered within the app itself.
So what is the mobile app funnel?
The Mobile App Funnel
The difference with app marketing is that marketplaces are the biggest traffic sources originally.  You can drive your traffic, which we'll talk about, but a lot of app developers are simply hoping that their app takes off in the app store itself.
Here's what I mean.
Most mobile apps are going to be installed on either Google Play or from the iOS app store. That's where the apps are going to physically be located and fulfilled.  When you're promoting your service or product, you are responsible for setting up your fulfillment.  With an app, the platform syncs it with the mobile device.
The marketplace has a LOT of traffic. People go to the marketplace in search of apps. However, I was just reading a study the other day that only 12% of people go and install a new app on their phone every 30 days. So the number of people who are installing apps on their mobile devices is drastically decreasing!
Unless a mobile user is looking for additional functionality a new way of doing something, your app will fall by the wayside if you rely exclusively on the App Store for your users and traffic.  People aren't playing around in the App Store trying to figure out what else they can put on their device, which puts some of the responsibility on the publisher in terms of driving traffic.
Driving Traffic To Your Mobile App
It never used to be that way - where you had to drive your traffic to your mobile app.
It used to be as simple as putting an app in the app store and all of a sudden you were getting downloads and installs!  People were coming through the front door, and you could monetize them through in-app purchases.
Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. You need a mobile app funnel.
Your app funnel is comprised of a couple of things...
You have mobile app advertising. With Facebook and Google, you can drive traffic from those ad platforms specifically to your app marketplace listings. And sometimes that conversion goal can be an app install, which means you are paying per app install.
The bad part though is that now you have real money at stake in promoting your app...  This means that your app needs to start generating cashflow!
Simplify Your Mobile App Onboarding As Much As Possible
There were a few clients that we worked with who was driving good traffic and getting great downloads...  We were spending money to promote their app. They were getting lots of signups (ie. leads), but they had these long terms of service page that needed to be agreed to before they could get in...
Immediately after you put your email address, you were redirected to a page that made you read through the Terms.  It was quite a few scrolls down!  You can guess what happened.  People jump ship, never to open the app again.
All these app downloads were coming in and then these users just never clicked through to even create their first session!
So what we ended up having to do was retool the app to be a single opt-in and a quick TOS checkbox.  From the user setup standpoint, it helped bypass the chokepoint that the terms of service were presenting, and folks were able to download the app and get into it faster!
You, for sure, will see something similar in your app funnel.  When there's a bottleneck, it's up to you and your app development team to optimize the app funnel and the sales process. You want people to download the app, install the app, use the app, love the app, and then ultimately process in-app upgrades that end up generating revenue for you.
And then once you figure that out and you've put together some data, you can go to some of these other app ad platforms to start driving traffic!  With the new traffic and optimization, your app funnel is positioned to take off and a bevy of new users will flood through the platform.
In short, though, don't rely on ONLY the marketplaces anymore!
Conclusion
To sum it up, all we have to say is that an app marketing funnel, whether it be traditional marketing or mobile app marketing, involves a similar set of strategies, yet is different to quite a large extent.
To master the mobile app marketing funnel, you need to think of a mobile app from a user-only perspective. And, that’s where the difference lies.
Everything mentioned above paints a clear picture of how you can master mobile app marketing funnels and bring great results for your business.
So, are you up for it?
